One of the great pleasures of my profession is that I am blessed with the opportunity to travel. For me, inspiration comes from my surroundings – the people and places that meet along the way. Shirley and Alan are a shy, sweet couple who were married in Hong Kong, honeymooned in Rome, and met up with me in Paris for a portrait session in the city of lights. Coming from the warm Hong Kong weather, they were not prepared for the damp, chilly, foggy air in Paris. It’s only been a few months since I was in Paris for Cristina & Philip‘s summer wedding in Evreux so I loved seeing the city in the winter season.

Kasie & Patrick: {Englewood, Florida} Sarasota Wedding PhotographerDecember 7th, 2011I had never met Kasie and Patrick before I arrived in Englewood, Florida (a tiny town near the larger town of Sarasota, Florida). It’s an Old Florida area where the beach is so much a part of people’s lives that’s its almost an afterthought. Kasie and Patrick were so calm and relaxed and just a pleasure to photograph. Surrounded by friends they had known for years, the ceremony and reception were just lovely. [gallery size="large" order="DESC" columns="1"] |
