The Bralands: {Winter Garden} Orlando Family Photography

October 30th, 2011

Meet the Bralands!  These kids have a special place in our hearts.  Zion is a zany character who can make you laugh without even trying.  Levi is a shy momma’s boy, but once he warms up to you he is as sweet as can be (he even picked me flowers!).  Baby Zoe is tiny, but has the strength of both of her brothers put together.  And, after countless hours of watching them all interact I can attest to the fact that their mother has the patience of a saint.  Their dad is an accomplished musician.  Zion and my son are best buddies and when I saw their teepee, I knew it would be perfect for their family portrait session.

Marie & Jon Mark: {Florida} Orlando Engagement Photographer

October 18th, 2011

I’m a country girl at heart and after getting to know Marie & Jon Mark, I realize that they are just as familiar with the rural life.  We originally shot their engagement session last spring on Park Avenue in Winter Park.  They showed up in cowboy boots.  So when I saw that the fall brought with it those stereotypical bales of hay paired with cool weather and golden afternoon light, I asked Marie if she’d trust me with an idea that I thought would be perfect for them.  We jumped fences, played with miniature horses, and trespassed just a little.
