Sarah & Niall…Rome, Italy Part III

You can’t go to Rome without visiting the Coliseum.  It’s a place so rich in history that you just stare at it’s crumbled remains and can’t help but imagine what life was like for Romans in its glory days.  We also made a stop at the world famous Trevi Fountain which is the entrance to the Roman aquaducts.  Then, we had an intimate 7 course Italian dinner at a 5 star restaurant on the Old Appian Way (I was stuffed after the second course, but it was so good I couldn’t stop eating!!).  Our night ended around 1:30 am at another world famous landmark…the Spanish Steps.

I love the romance of Old Europe…people everywhere, buildings crumbling, and always enough time for coffee.  I can’t wait to go back and hope to hit many more destinations in the coming years.

Please feel free to leave comments on this blog…I’d love your feedback!
