Eva & Aaron

December 17, 2008

A few shots from my engagement session with Aaron and Eva Marie yesterday.  We hung out in downtown Celebration for a bit yesterday afternoon and here are some of my faves…

Despite Aaron’s nerves, they did a fantastic job and said they had a great time.  Something about their skin tones is just glowingly exotic…I can’t wait to shoot this super sweet couple’s wedding in March!

See Aaron? I told you you’d look great!  Now you can relax and enjoy the wedding…

Jenn & Jim

December 15, 2008

Jenn is a classic beauty…so easy to shoot!  Jim was debonair gentlemen who clearly has a touch of James bond to his persona.

Their outdoor sunset ceremony at Mystic Dunes had beautiful light.

As soon as it was over, Kevin and I literally rushed the two of them off to catch the last few rays of sun before it dropped below the horizon.  WOW!  Beautiful…and if I know Kevin the video is going to be just as gorgeous.

The reception had a dramatic, moody feel to it.  Drinking custom labeled wine, their friends stayed late into the night celebrating in high style…

…before they sent them off with much fanfare.

Amazing day!  Thanks for letting us be a part of it…congratulations!

Rachel & Brian

December 15, 2008

Rachel & Brian are two of the coolest cucumbers around.  I had a blast with them at their engagement session!  We started at the tiki bar and it just went uphill from there - who doesn’t have fun surrounded by palm trees and white sandy beaches.  Oh, yeah, and we got this amazing sunset shot.

As soon as I find some time for both Kevin and I, we are going to learn Scuba Diving from Brian (okay, secretly it hinges on getting into bathing suit shape, but whatever!).

Seriously CANNOT WAIT for your wedding in 2009!

Annabel & Dave

December 15, 2008

Annabel & Dave celebrated their wedding day surrounded by lots and lots of family and friends!  Tears were shed during the ceremony on both sides.

For me, one of the best things about this wedding was that Annabel planned the day so there would be no rushing fron place to place.  We did portraits before the weddings so the stress was off of everyone and the couple was able to relax both during the ceremony and afterward.

I have to give kudos to my hubby, Kevin, who had Annabel spinning her veil around for the video - makes a great shot with the flowing textiles.  But, I stood back and grabbed this shot and am thankful to him for his great ideas!

These portraits were shots after the ceremony…a much more relaxed Annabel and Dave sharing some quiet time alone.

So, Dave and his entire family are musical - who knew?!?  And, they are all really great - these aren’t even half the performers.  We were treated to some serious musical talent and a great serenade from Dave to his new wife.

Love and laughter all around this couple…Congrats to Annabel & Dave!
