Marilin & Joel
November 22, 2008After 15 years of what has clearly been a happy marriage, Marilin & Joel proved that it is never too late to have your dream wedding. With their 3 children beside them and surrounded by family and friends from across the oceans, they shared an unforgettable day of celebration!

How sweet! After all these years, they are still madly in love. This wedding was about the celebration of marriage…a life of love, happiness, and commitment. I couldn’t help thinking about how amazing it would be to stand at the altar with your parents as they recounted all their great memories and affirmed their vows.

The ceremony was full of emotion…Marilin cried all the way down the aisle and Joel teared up during the vows. What an impressive affirmation of their life together! The guests erupted in applause as Joel passionately kissed his wife.

I’ve NEVER seen Holy Trinity look better! The reception was elegantly decorated with chic lime green and chocolate brown motifs. Draping hung from the ceiling and little chocolate boxes greeted guests at their tables.

First dances are always special as couples are celebrating the start of their new lives. But the history that this couple has made this first dance especially beautiful…filled with loving touches and long looks.

Here’s to Marilin & Joel (& family) who show us all how amazing married life can be! When Kevin and I fall into our routine patterns and everyday ambivalence, we’ll remember that Marilin & Joel taught us that true love is enduring, supportive, and deep. Congratulations to the Rosas!

As the guests were leaving, I heard them saying that Kristin & Kelley’s wedding was like a fairytale from start to finish. Kevin edited a highlight of the video during dinner and the reception ended with the highlight playing on the projector screen as a grand finale. Then they rode off in a carriage - the perfect ending to a perfect day. Kudos to Kristin & Kelley!
