Melissa & Brandon

October 27, 2008

You’ll remember Melissa & Brandon from their engagement session I posted over the summer - they brought their dog, Sadie, and it made for some adorable shots!  Their wedding Saturday night in Winter Park was both elegant and fun!  Doesn’t Melissa look a little like Marilyn Monroe with her hair pinned up in those curls?

Alright, Melissa - aren’t you glad you added those eyelashes now?  They really made your eyes pop!  Think you have a lot of attendants?  Melissa & Brandon had a bridal party of 24 - and that doesn’t include the ushers!!!!

My assistant and I were totally bummed when the church lady refused to budge on letting us in the sanctuary during the ceremony.  But, we refused to let that stop us from getting amazing shots.  The second image above was shot through the one clear pane of glass in the door and makes a unique natural frame.  The other shots are from the balcony.  A little surprise for the church lady…we planted one of our backup cameras with a guest and got Melissa coming down the aisle - shhhh!  It’s the one shot Melissa said she really wanted so we found a way.

We hit the park right at sunset and the sky was saturated with all these beautiful colors!

Melissa & Brandon…have fun in NYC!  Can’t wait to share the rest of your day with you when you get back.

Michelle & Renato

October 24, 2008

Michelle and Renato’s blend of Chinese Traditions with a Classic American Wedding made for a stunning display of color and textures.  Red is a lucky color in Chinese tradition, so you’ll see Michelle weaved it into all of her details.

Michelle had 3 dress and hair changes!  She started in this traditional dress for the tea ceremony.

What a sweet couple!  And gorgeous, too!

After the traditional ceremony, we headed back for another dress, hair, and make-up change.  For all you women like me who have shoe fetishes- check out these sexy shoes!

Michelle….need I say more?

It is absolutely heart-warming to see couples completely in love with each other!  I love my job…it reminds me of how amazing life can be.

Renato gets my vote for most passionate kiss!  What a dip - I hope they got that on video!

The reception had a traditional Chinese theme and was hosted in an elegant Chinese restaurant.  Now, let me tell you that NOBODY loves Chinese food more than me - so you can imagine my delight!

Congrats to Michelle & Renato…don’t ever forget forget how you felt on your wedding day!
